In January, this year I lost my sister to cancer. A young and beautiful human being who was taken far too soon from my family and me. Her passing has left a great void in my heart of grief and despair, but at the same time also opened up my realization and acceptance of death as a natural part of our physical life and which we should not be afraid of.
Music has always been a useful medium for me through which I have worked and expressed many thoughts and feelings over the years. Shortly after my sister's death, I wrote and composed the track 'We'll Carry On' to celebrate her life. In collaboration with my nephew, who was very close to my sister, the song has now become a beautiful and touching tribute and at the same time a reminder to the rest of us of the perishability of life and the importance of maintaining our faith in each other throughout life.
I feel like the right time has come to share this song with you all. In order to do so, I also felt it necessary that the project can simultaneously help with an active fight against cancer on its own. By purchasing the single you will support the Danish Cancer Society. All proceeds from the sale of this single will be donated to this important cause.
